Marie Magnetic
Marie Magnetic (b. 1989, Jackson, MI, USA) is an Irish, Jewish, Blackfoot, neurodivergent, and queer artist. Her art considers the experiences of being othered while reflecting on the mundane, the morose, and the magnificently mad. She uses color, form, and surreal images to make sense of humanity through art.
Marie graduated from Central Michigan University in 2017, studying Psychology. She is a Foundation House, Haven Foundation, and New York Foundation for the Arts grant recipient. Additionally, her work has been published in LAMINATOR ZINE, Pinky Thinker Press, Handbasket Review, and The Globe Review. Marie currently resides in Chicago, IL.
